Energy manipulation session

Service Description

Reiki is universal energy which is called by a variety of names in various traditions around the world. It is the power that creates the electric sparks you may feel at the back of your neck or up your forearms when you speak your true intention. The treatment is something like a guided meditation. What a session looks like is we begin by sitting across from one another and I ask that we join hands (we can hold our palms facing without touching if you prefer). I will look you straight in the eyes and ask "What is your intention for this session with me?" I will listen and reflect back what I heard - please correct my interpretation until we have this right. Once we have set the intention, you may choose to lay face up on a treatment table, or sit in a chair. I can either apply a light touch, or manipulate the energy in the subtle body without physically touching. Once we have you settled and are clear about what is going to happen next, I will channel the energy and ask that it work for you where it is most needed. While I am in this channel I circle your body to work with all the energy centers, then I'll place my hands on or over your eyes and hold space for us both to slowly return to standard consciousness. Before you leave I will offer you some water to drink. This treatment is not intended to diagnose or treat any medical condition, however many people find that it provides relief from a variety of discomforts.
